Why Order Custom Shirts?

If you own, manage, or work at a business, school, or are coordinating an event, you will frequently need custom shirts. Custom shirts provide a uniform look for your employees or co-workers. Custom shirts also bring unity to a group. If you are planning a race, everyone feels a sense of unity if they are wearing the same custom shirts.

Three main reasons for custom shirts:

  1. Company Information Visibility

  2. Employee Pride

  3. Team Unity

Having your employees or group wear custom shirts will increase your company or event's visibility to the public. If you have employees, they will wear your custom shirts 40 hours a week! They are a walking billboard for you every hour they work! If you pass out custom shirts to a group or a team, they will promote you during the event and not to mention how many of them stop at the store on the way home. Imagine how many people will be in that store and will see your information on their custom shirts!

How To Ensure Best Quality for the Best Price for your Custom Shirts:

  1. Guarantees:  This may sound simple, but you’d be surprised how many custom shirts aren't guaranteed by the printer.  Make sure that your custom shirt printer provides, in writing, a 100% quality guarantee on all custom shirts.

  2. Buy Quality Custom Shirts:  Quality control of the custom shirt manufacturer is huge when printing custom shirts.  Little things, like the collar not being perfectly center or the sleeves not matching, can be detrimental when shirt printing... things that pass through on lower-grade custom shirts will be clearly visible when you slap that perfectly gorgeous (and straight!) logo across the chest.

  3. Durable Prints:  There are many methods to printing custom shirts, but screen printing is the most durable.  Of course, your custom shirts are going to need to hold up under pressure… make sure your custom shirts are being screen printed to ensure the longest lasting custom shirts!

How To Print Custom Shirts:

How to print custom shirts varies widely depending on the purpose of your shirts. Most businesses screen print a simple one color chest print of their company’s logo and / or name. May races have custom shirts with the race name and design on front with the sponsors across the length of the back.  If you really want your custom shirts to stand out from others, we recommend going with a multicolor print.  Think of all the typical custom shirts out there, and how they usually use a simple one or two color print… boring! Imagine seeing your custom shirts with a multi color design on both sides!  People will see these custom shirts and are more likely to remember them.

The front of many custom shirts has a small "pocket print" on the left side of the chest. This is usually 3" x 3" to 4” x 4.” This print will is important as it is what the person wearing the custom shirt sees as they are getting ready in the mirror. If you are using these custom shirts as your uniforms, a pocket print significantly adds to the professional image your company deserves, as well as offering the employees custom shirts to be proud to wear.

The back of your custom shirts usually has a larger print. For uniforms, they may have a logo printed larger across the shoulder blades, approximately  10” x 6.” Above the logo, we recommend printing your phone number on the custom shirts. Below your logo, we recommend including your website.   Of course, these locations are flexible and will be unique for each business' custom shirts. Your total back print will be custom printed around 10” x 10.”

For races and events, the back of custom shirts offers an area to thank sponsors or print a large, fun design. Your custom shirts will be complete!

This back print of your custom shirts will greatly increase your visibility for the public… Remember that employee who stops at Foodland or Don Quijote on the way home? Imagine the visibility your custom shirts are bringing to the neighborhood!

Remember:  Price is what you pay.  Value is what you get.

When it comes to custom shirts, you get what you pay for. A custom shirt printing company that has slightly higher prices will likely be able to offer more value and deliver higher quality custom shirts and have better customer service. You’ll be more pleased with your custom shirt experience.

Inexperienced (cheap) custom shirt printers can print custom shirts that looks good for a day... or two... or three... for a low price.  However, your custom shirts will be showing signs of age after the first few washes. The ink may be cracking and the ink may even bleed if the custom shirts weren't cured right. What a waste of money on custom shirts!

A printer that is experienced with custom shirts is able to guarantee their work and offer you much more value for a slightly higher price.  Your custom shirts will look great for years to come. You will feel much more satisfied with your custom shirts and will have been happy to pay the extra buck for custom shirts so that they lasts.
